Mac Tips Daily! #60 - Searching for Color Labels

If you have tagged files using the Color Labels, here is a quick way to search for them, by the color. Click on the Finder icon on the dock, this will make it the active window, next go to the 'FIle menu', and choose 'FIND' - or you can just hold down 'Command + F' This will bring up the 'New search' dialog box. search In the top left dropdown, it defaults to the search criteria: Kind. Click on it and choose: 'Color Label' Mactips60 2 Now, you will see the round color buttons visible. Mactips60 3 Go ahead, and set any additional criteria that you may want to search for, and then 'Click on one of the colors' to find any documents tagged with the applicable color.
