Mac Tips Daily! #47 - Desktop Clocks
Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 8:19PM
A feature of OS X Tiger is being able to add a clock onto your desktop. Most people use the clock in the menu bar, but you can place one anywhere on your desktop. To do this, go to System Preferences, Choose 'Date & Time'.
Next, make sure there is a check mark next to 'Show the date and time'.
Choose the options you want - Analog or Digital, 24 Hour clock, etc.
Set the transparency level - all the way to the left = more transparent, right = opaque.
Note: the Analog clock won't display the date. You will need to Right click or hold down control and click on the clock to see the current date.
