Mac Tips #26 - Pop Up Dictionary

You have a built in Dictionary in OS X Tiger. You can access it via Applications->Dictionary, or under your Dashboard Widgets, or this easy to use Pop Up version.

This works in MOST applications, but not all (for example- it doesn't work in Firefox 1.5 or Camino browser).

Click over a word, and hold down COMMAND + CONTROL + D
and get a pop up version of the Dictionary and Thesaurus. I find this Exceptionally Useful.
