Mac Tips Daily! # 179 - The Help Viewer
Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 9:34AM
Did you know that the Help Viewer app keeps available the library of help files from the applications that support the OS X Help system?
This is great, since you don't have to open the app to access the help file.
Here is how to do it:
Click on the 'Finder' on your dock to make it the active application.
Next, go to the Finder menu at the top of the screen and choose 'HELP -> Mac Help'.
Now, the Help Viewer is the active application. Go to the menu at the top of the screen, and choose 'Library'. You will see a list of the help files you can access. Your list will be different than mine, depending on what apps you have installed.
Next, go to the Finder menu at the top of the screen and choose 'HELP -> Mac Help'.
