Mac Tips Daily! # 174 - Installed Safari Plug-Ins

Do you ever come across a web site that says you don't have the plug-in needed to view content on a web site? The site could be wrong, or maybe you really don't have it. Here is how to check, before you go and download a plug-in all over again. Open 'Safari' safari Go to the 'Help->Installed Plug-Ins' menu. safari help Now you will see all of the plug-ins you currently have installed available to Safari. Check the versions and the file types, then you can check and see on the plug-in site if you have the latest version or not. Extra: Check out 'Pimp My Safari' for some extra 3rd party plug-ins. Most are free, but check before installing pimpmysafari .
