Mac Tips Daily! #147 - Keeping Items Visible

When you resize windows and make them smaller, you will lose some icons on your menu bars. This can be frustrating, but here is a way to keep your most needed icons in sight, even when you make the window smaller. This tip works with most OS X apps. Here is how to do it: Find the item you want to keep, then move your mouse pointer over it. Now, Hold down 'Control' and 'Click' the mouse. When the contextual menu appears, simply choose 'Keep Item Visible'. Now when you resize your window, OSX will do everything it can to keep those items in view. visible item
