Mac Tips Daily! #145 - Rearrange Menu Bar Items

Did you think you were stuck with the way OS X adds icons to the top of your menu bar? Well, you can move things around to an order you prefer (with the exception of the spotlight icon). Here is how to do it: Hold down COMMAND and Drag the items to the right or left until they are in the order you prefer.
