Mac Tips Daily! #111 - Remove data from autofill forms
Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 1:05PM
Have you ever chosen to 'Save' your data when you auto filled a form? Safari usually asks you if you want to save it, and if you choose yes, it keeps it for the next time you visit a site.
Perhaps there is a site you inadvertently saved data for and you want to remove it. Maybe you entered the wrong data, and it keeps trying to autofill it.
Here is how to remove it:
With Safari Open, choose 'Preferences'.
Next, choose 'Auto Fill', and click 'Edit' next to 'Other Forms'
Now choose the item you want to remove, and then click 'Remove'. If you want to remove everything, choose 'Remove All' (I don't recommend this option).
Next, choose 'Auto Fill', and click 'Edit' next to 'Other Forms'
Now choose the item you want to remove, and then click 'Remove'. If you want to remove everything, choose 'Remove All' (I don't recommend this option).
