Mac Tips Daily! #103 - What happens when you insert discs

By default, when you insert a blank disc, OS X asks you what you want to do with it. You can choose a few options: Open an application, ignore the disc, or run a script to perform a task. Also, if you insert a particular kind of disc (music, picture, dvd movie), you can choose what you want OS X to do with that too. Here is how to do this: First, go to the 'Apple menu', and choose 'System Preferences'. Next, choose 'CD & DVDs'. cdsdvds Now, click on the option you want to change via the drop down menu. menu Notice it will present you with multiple options, choose the one that suits your needs.
