Mac Tips Daily! #103 - What happens when you insert discs
Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 1:11PM
By default, when you insert a blank disc, OS X asks you what you want to do with it. You can choose a few options: Open an application, ignore the disc, or run a script to perform a task. Also, if you insert a particular kind of disc (music, picture, dvd movie), you can choose what you want OS X to do with that too.
Here is how to do this:
First, go to the 'Apple menu', and choose 'System Preferences'.
Next, choose 'CD & DVDs'.
Now, click on the option you want to change via the drop down menu.
Notice it will present you with multiple options, choose the one that suits your needs.
