Mac Tips Daily! # 214 - Front Row Exits
Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:39PM
Front Row is a beautiful application to run on your Mac. One caveat is the slow exit time. If you are using the remote, you have to move through the menus one by one, and when you want to exit, it can be frustrating. If you don't mind using your keyboard, you can easily get back to your desktop - fast!
Here is how to do it:
With Front Row running,
press the 'HOME' key on your keyboard.
This will exit front row, and keep the animations and sound efx.
Need to get back faster than that? To go straight to the desktop, press 'Command-Option-Esc'.
