Have you ever needed to create a new document from an image that was in your clipboard? Preview makes it easy. Thanks to listener Kevin D. for submitting it. Let's get started: Copy an image to your clipboard. There are many ways to do it, but for this example, I will use Safari. Right click or hold down Control and click on an image, and choose 'Copy Image' from the contextual menu. copy image to clipboard Now, open 'Preview' preview File -> New From Clipboard new from clipboard and it will create your new document. new document Next, go to 'File -> Save As' save as and choose the format you want it to be saved in. available save as formats Any image in your clipboard can be used, not just items you have copied from Safari.
