Just in... the new 10.5.2 update is hot off the server. Let's hope it fixes lots of the problems many have reported with Leopard. Also, here is a list of other updates. As always, I recommend you repair permissions BEFORE and AFTER an update. You can download directly, or use the Software Update

News: Macbook(s) keyboard updates & OS X Security Updates

Software Update.pngApple has posted a software update for those that have been experiencing keyboard freezes on their MacBook & MacBook Pro machines.

They have additionally added a security update for all Macs that should be applied ASAP, since it covers several applications and services in Mac OS X - Tiger & Leopard. If you have installed any 3rd party QuickLook plug-ins, this update will disable them. Hopefully Apple will rectify this problem in a subsequent update. READ MORE »

The new release offers a slick new interface and brand new Quick Look feature that should've been built into the Finder to begin with. If you haven't used DFX before, be sure to give this one a try. It's one of my favorite applications and highly recommended by us.

News: Apple Will Support Third Party Apps on iPhone

The SDK (system developers kit) will be introduced in February 2008, which will allow developers to easily produce applications for the iPhone, while keeping the security of the phone in tact. Apple has released an update to the newly released iMovie 7, from the iLife 08' suite.

According to Apple, this update addresses issues with .Mac web gallery publishing, overall stability, and other minor issues.

It's been a busy week for Apple. Here are a few things you need to be aware of. Running software update will take of most of them. If not, direct download them here. Not listed, but appeared on our system was a Front Row update to allow support for the new iPhoto 7 features.
