Review: SleepPhones - Pajamas for Your Ears

I like to sleep. I can take a nap just about anywhere, and usually I am listening to my iPod when I do it. There is nothing like relaxing and listening to a Pzizz mix or my favorite podcasts. In fact I have a few that almost always put me to sleep! The problem is that my earbuds fall out or I wake up being strangled by the wires. Not anymore.  I have been using the SleepPhones for about a week and they are eliminating both of these problems.

What are they?

The SleepPhones are essentiality a nearly flat earbuds encased inside of a fleece headband, akin to the kind you see people wearing in the cold weather. The earband is actually Eco-firendly, made from Polartec fleece which is made from 88% recycled plastic bottles. Sleeping and saving the planet, two great ideas :-).

Initial impressions

Initially they were a little snug around my head the first couple of nights, but after that they seem to be

Review: MusicSkins - Stylish Protection

Protection and personalization are the two things that many people want when looking to add some flare to their electronic devices. Everywhere I go I see laptops, cell phones, and iPods covered with stickers. It's not just young folks either. It's everybody. Some look cool, some look cheap, but the ones I tested for MusicSkins were exactly what I was looking for.

You go to the website, choose an image you like (favorite band, rapper, models, etc.), select the device you want it for (mp3 player, laptop, cell phone, game device), and order it.

Once it arrives, you simply affix the 3M vinyl sticker to your device. Everything is pre-cut for your specific device, so it fits perfectly. The 3M vinyl doesn't leave any bubbles or residue when you remove it. It's really great stuff -- and very durable. I've been using one on my Razr phone for a couple of years and it's held up incredibly well.

Review: Radio Gaga - Fill your iTunes library for free

If you told there was software that not only allowed you to listen to radio stations from all over the world but also allowed you to not only just record the audio but also schedule recordings (DRM free I may add), would you be interested? I certainly was. I jumped at the chance to review this one. Not being a native to the USA I sometimes miss radio stations and particular shows from the homeland and thought this was going to be the perfect solution to getting my hands on some home content. You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl, right?

Radio Gaga is developed by GaGa Factory (www.gagafactory.com) and from reading about the application on their website is claims as well as the 10,000 plus stations, the ability to; multi-record dozens of radio stations simultaneously, schedule recordings when you're away, adding your own radio stations and exporting your recorded audio to your iTunes library.

Review: Proporta Wallaby iPod Wallet

Have you ever wanted to keep your cash with your tunes? The new Wallaby iPod Wallet will allow you to do just that. It's a high quality handmade leather wallet witha a dash of style for the iPod Nano lover.

If features 5 compartments plus one additional one for your iPod Nano (4g). If features an all handmade black leather exterior which is accented by green stitching around the parameter.

You can comfortably fit your debit cards into the inside compartments, but it offers no long conpartments to keep fully extended currency. I think this had to be omitted to enable you to have a spot to wrap your iPod earbuds around. While I like that option, I'd rather have a spot to keep my cash extended, instead of being folded. Also omitted is an identification window for your license or student ID. This is a basic feature found in all wallets, and should have been included in this one.
