News: iPhone Update 1.01 released
Apple is now offering the first update to it's iPhone software, revision 1.01. The first update has been greatly anticipated by many, but sadly doesn't add additional features.
This release is focused on security and bug fixes -- both welcome additions.
The most notable fix is the Safari security hole which allowed cross site scripting when visiting a malicious website designed to take advantage of the hole.

Updating is simple, you simply connect your iPhone to iTunes, click 'Check for new software', and it will download the latest update and begin to install.
During the update your iPhone screen will show the Apple logo and a progress bar. Our update took about 3 minutes to complete.
Some users have reported new enhancements such as the iPod is no longer crashing when browsing Safari. Users are also reporting the audio sounds less distorted when coming out of the iPhone's internal speakers.
We recommend you immediately update your iPhone to the latest version.
