Steve Jobs gave the kickoff keynote at the World Wide Developers Conference in San Franscisco. Exciting new information on OS X Leopard.

The Highlights:

- Leopard has over 300 new features. The biggest upgrade yet.

- Fully 64Bit.  64bit and 32bit apps run side by side.

- Finder --  A new one.  Imagine using iTunes to browse your Mac.

- Safari 3.0 - It's now on the MAC and WINDOWS!

- iPhone - Developers can create third party web based Apps. Yeah!!

- Games - Electronic Arts and ID are behind the Mac and are actively developing some great new games.  (Tiger Woods 08, Madden 08, Harry Potter, etc.).

- The Apple Website is totally revamped. It looks awesome!

This keynote was a bit disappointing to me. Steve went over Dashboard and iChat like last year. With over 300 new features, I wish he would've focused more on some of the other details.  Don't get me wrong, they are very cool.. but it's not the exciting stuff I was hoping to see.  He spent severeal minutes showing off a new 'movie times' widget.

Hop over to the Apple Websiteto view the new OS X Leopard demos of all of the latest features.
