Looks like Apple has sent out invitations to a special event on Thursday March 6th at the Apple Campus. Topics will include the new SDK and and some new enterprise features. Sounds like they are revving up to make a move on corporate America. Time will tell I guess. This is even exciting news for folks in Ireland, as O2 has announced the iPhone will be released there on March 14th.

While we all wait for this new SDK to surface, it never hurts to check out software for your Mac. The folks at Unsanity have released Leopard (10.5) compatible betas of their 'haxies' such as WindowsShade X, FruitMenu, and FontCard. The former two were two of the apps I bought when I bought my very first iBook back in 2004.

News: iClueless for iPhone & iPod Touch

Submitted by jcost on Mon, 01/07/2008 - 13:33.

Efksoft, the folks that brought iPhoneRingToneMaker to the market have introduced a cool new free application. It's called 'iClueless'. It's an online web application that allows you to search from one single webpage. For example, if you enter in 'Subway' and click on the 'Business' icon, it will launch Google Maps and show you all of the Subways in your area.

The goal of this app is to eliminate steps required for search on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Rumor has it that the new iPhone firmware coming out soon will allow you to add bookmarks onto the HOME screen. Once that happens, I can see this little web app being very useful. READ MORE »

The new update of Garage Band 4.1.1 includes a wonderful new option for creating custom ringtones on your iPhone. This should quiet down the complainers that said Apple just wanted to double charge us for songs we already own.

Here is a new Apple doc outlining the process.

You can create up to a 40 second custom ringtone. Requires Version 1.1.2 or higher of the iPhone software.
Look for a tutorial from us in the coming days.
