Submitted by jcost on Thu, 02/01/2007 - 11:03.

In ear headphones are great for isolating outside noise and listening to your music in private. However, the earbuds that come with the iPod don't particularly fit everyone's ear size. Even with the newest iPod earbud design, people still complain about them falling out or being uncomfortable.

Razer M250

Razer Pro|Solutions offers an attractive alternative, called the Pro|Tone m250 ergonomic ear-hugging headphones. They fit over the outside of your ears and feature a flexible rubber-coated ear grip that hold them in place. They offer a snug fit that will keep them on during a jog or working out. READ MORE »

Review: Logitech MX Revolution - The Wheel Re-invented

Submitted by jcost on Tue, 01/23/2007 - 14:48.

It's hard to be innovative with products that we use everyday.

Logitech MX Revolution

For example, how can you innovate your monitor, keyboard, or mouse? We have come to expect things to work a particular way, and then accept it. Good or bad. Can anyone say 'Windows XP'? True innovation comes when you take a product that already works, and then make it work better. Fix what is wrong with it. That's what Steve Jobs & Apple do. Usually. They make a mean machine & OS, but they make a mouse that is from the dark ages.

Logitech to the rescue. We all know the name Logitech & are familiar with their peripherals. However, this time around, they have made the best mouse ever. It's appropriately named - The MX Revolution - World's Most Advanced Mouse. This mouse truly is revolutionary.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new EyeTV Hybrid US from Elgato Systems. Review: TV Micro from Miglia - Watch TV on your Mac

Submitted by jcost on Tue, 09/05/2006 - 16:46.

We have all been waiting for Apple to introduce a Home Media Center. We can play DVDs and Movies, but what about recording our favorite TV shows? We don't want to buy everything on iTunes, that isn't economical. Luckily, Miglia has brought TV Tuner portability into the forefront with TV Micro, which will enable you to record all of your favorite shows right on your Mac.
TV MICRO
TV Micro is a small analog TV tuner that is only a bit thicker than an iPod Shuffle. In fact, it sort of looks like a fat iPod shuffle with a coax dongle on the end. If you have been searching for a solution that supports analog PAL and NTSC, TV Micro is one cool little portable TV tuner solution. READ MORE »

Review: Nintendo DS Lite - Part 1 of 2 - Hardware

Submitted by jcost on Thu, 08/31/2006 - 12:05.

nintendo DS liteIf you haven't heard about the Nintendo DS Lite, you either hate games or you are stranded on an island somewhere. Let me preface this review by saying how much I disliked Gameboys and Gameboy Advanced systems. I let my son borrow a GB & GBA from his friend this summer, and it was the first time I had laid my hands on a Gameboy. The disappointment was unreal.

The screen of the Gameboy was not backlit, and I couldn't see a thing. I cannot fathom how kids spend hours on these things. The Gameboy Advanced was mildly better, at least it's screen was somewhat backlit - yet, it too was one of the most disappointing things I have ever seen, as far as portable gaming goes.

Fast forward to July 2006 when Nintendo sent me their latest and greatest new release, the Nintendo DS Lite.
The new DS Lite is sleek, beautiful, and re-designed. READ MORE »

Review: Nintendo DS Lite - Part 2 of 2 - The Games

Submitted by jcost on Thu, 08/31/2006 - 10:42.

We were lucky enough to test three games during our time with the Nintendo DS Lite. Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day, Big Brain Academy, and The New Super Mario Bros.
If you missed Part 1 of our Nintendo DS Lite review, be sure to check it out.

train your brain

Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day
The first game I tested was Brain Age. It is great entertainment for the whole family and all of your friends. It is inspired by the research of Dr. Ryuta Kawashima, a Japanese neuroscientist, who studied how to stimulate your brain with mental exercises. Each time you do an activity, your are rated on how old he thinks your brain is. When I first started, my brain age was 65. It had to be wrong.. I am sure of it. My real brain is half that age. But, as I train daily, I have lowered my brain age down to age 30, which isn't too shabby!. READ MORE »
