Do you ever need quick access to some of your running application's features, but don't want to open the the full window to access them? On some apps, you can access some of it's available features from the dock. The program must be running to do this.
I am showing you with iTunes, but most programs support this, you just need to play around with it, and see what each app supports.

Cool Dock Trick.

Dock too big or too small? Resize it. Move your mouse over the divider bar on the dock. When it turn into a horizontal line with an arrow on top & bottom, then Click the mouse button and move the mouse UP or DOWN while you are holding the mouse button down.

Mac Tip #25 - Quick Access from Dock to Finder

Today's tip are keyboard and mouse related shortcuts to

quickly access the actual file of something that is on your Dock.

There are many uses for these shortcuts, but let's say for example.. you have a program on your Dock you no longer need. Removing it from the Dock doesn't delete it from you system. However, if you follow the shortcuts I give in the podcast, you can go directly to the file and drop it in the trash...
