News: MTD Loses Featured Spot in iTunes

It had to happen. For the last several months (about 8 to be exact), Mac Tips Daily! has kept a consistent spot on the 'featured' list in iTunes.

Not on the front page, but on the front page of the Podcast -> Tech News featured list.

It's been an honor to look there and see it listed right next to "This Week in Tech", "DLTV","Security Now", etc. All very high quality & popular shows.

I don't know what the criteria is to be featured, but I am pretty sure it has to do with the number of downloads (that's what some other podcasters have eluded to).

It's a sad fact, but without iTunes, this show isn't going to continue to grow. It's THAT big of a deal. iTunes is the 1000 pound gorilla.
