According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple founder Steve Jobs underwent a liver transplant two months ago in Tennessee. Reports on the web say that the previous Pancreatic cancer Jobs had routinely metastasizes in livers for patients that survive the pancreatic cancer.
Speculation of why he went to Tennessee for a transplant is due to the low waiting period. Nationally the waiting list is 306 days, and Tennessee it is 48.
We wish Steve well and can't wait for him to return to work, at least part time as scheduled at the end of June.
