ScreenSavrz for iMac is a very cool product to help keep your iMac G5/Intel or G4 iMac physically in A1 condition.

Initially, it looks just like a cover you slip onto your iMac screen. However, if you read the documentation, you will find it does much more.

It feels like a chamois leather cloth (aka.. shammy) that you would use to polish your car. However, It is a ultra-light Optex cloth, which is specially formulated for optical grade polishing.

It is a very smooth material, and the outer edges are stitched like a sheet that you would put on your bed. This enables you to fit the fabric over the front of the iMac, and the cinch grabs around the edges of it.

Radtech says you can use it to protect, clean, and polish the screen. Additionally, you can wipe down the keyboard, case, iPod, etc. I used it all over my iMac, and I didn't notice any scratching effects, which I was afraid of of my new iMac. I have to say, it also shined up my iPod very nicely, and it made it look like new.

Unfortunately, I was unable to remove an existing scratch on the iMac screen. I shut down my iMac, and even tried wetting the quick drying fabric (it says you can do this), and still couldn't remove it. Warning: before you wipe the surface of your screen with any type of liquid, be sure to turn the computer screen off.
Overall, it did a great job of cleaning the screen and getting off the fingerprints and other residue.

When it gets dirty, simply stick it in the washer, and then let it air dry.

I found myself using it more as a cleaning tool than protecting the screen by using it as a cover. I was looking for additional protection when I am transporting my iMac, since the LCD screens are rather delicate. I use my Mac entirely too much to cover the screen nightly, however, I can see that a business may be interested in using it this way. In fact, you can even get an edition that has customized text debossing for your particular company, at an additional cost.

It comes in multiple sizes, and three different colors - titanium grey, aqua, and shagwire (think leopard). Price varies $19.95 - $36.95, depending on size, which is a bit steep. However, if you are looking to keep your equipment in the best physical condition, and don't mind paying the price, ScreenSavrz for iMac is a winner.
