Keynote Predictions (updated)
Steve Jobs is suffering with health issues, and Phil Schiller is providing the Keynote address at this year's Macworld Expo.
With the lack of Steve being there, I don't expect any earth shattering announcements. Here are my predictions.

My Browser's Slow Launching Solved!
For the last few weeks I've been tearing my hair out everytime I launched my web browser. I could literally click on Safari or Firefox and start counting from 1 to 40 and it might actually give me the option to type in something to the address bar after 40 seconds. It was strange. No More Stevenote. No More Macworld Expo for Apple.
"Apple has been trying to separate itself from Macworld for some time, preferring instead to host its own "special events" a few times a year. There used to be Macworld New York, Boston, Tokyo and other expos around the world. But over the years they have been scaled back significantly as Apple has been able to appeal directly to its customers via the iTunes website and its 250 retail stores which host more than 3.5 million visitors every week."

Software Update - Mac OS X 10.5.6 Now available!
Apple releases the new 10.5.6 update -- continues to be vague in the details.
The update is recommended for all Mac OS X Leopard users.

Mail, Mac OS X 10.5, iCal 3.x, MobileMe Sync, iChat, AirPort, Safari
You can get the update from Software Update, but if you have a broadband connection, I always recommend getting the full Combo update. I have found doing this is much more reliable and helps eliminate problems other users might encounter. READ MORE »
