Mac Tips Daily! #65 - Big Phone Numbers
Address book and the accompanying widget are very handy. You can keep all of your contacts organized, and they are at your finger tips right when you need them. I use it to look up phone numbers all of the time. The problem I have is that sometimes the phone number is hard to see, or I walk across the room to dial the number.. and then forget it. Here is a way to make the phone number display large enough to even see it across the room.
Here's how to do it:
Address Book Widget
Click on the label of the number that you want. For example: Work, Home, Cell, etc.
Now, you can see the number in large type on your screen.
Address Book application
To do this tip in 'Address book' application, it works the same way, you just need to 'CLICK' on the 'Label', and when the contextual menu appears, choose 'Large Type'.
