Mac Tips Daily! #144 - Spotlight File Locations
Spotlight will index all of the data on your Mac. Most people when they search, they want to open the file right after spotlight finds it. But, you can use a Spotlight search to find the exact location of the file on your hard drive.
Here is how to do it:

Open Spotlight by pressing 'Command - Space', and your Spotlight window will open.
Next, search for something in the spotlight box.

When the results are returned, hold down 'Command and Click' on the file, and a Finder window will open up with the file, folder, song, etc. already selected. That's all there is to it!
