Review: Gelaskins - Awesome Skins for your Devices
I can't say I've ever been a fan of putting stickers or other 'skins' on my computer or phone. I see it quite often out in the wild, but it's really never appealed to me. So when the folks from Gelaskins offered up a few to try, I was a little less than enthusiastic. READ MORE »
Review: iLap Laptop Stand
Some Like It Hot!
If you've got a MacBook you’ll know what I mean when I say ‘Some like it hot!’. In fact anyone who uses a laptop (it’s by no means exclusive to Apple) on their lap will be aware that things get hot , hot, hot! Slap two of these together and you could be cranking out pop tarts at volcanic temperatures. (George Foreman watch out – I can see it now, the iGrill).
Of course if you use your laptop on a desk you will be unaware of this ‘hidden bonus feature’. But if you’re like me and sit watching TV on the sofa and whilst surfing it can be a problem.
OK, I’ve exaggerated a little for dramatic purposes, but the point I am trying to make is that even through normal everyday clothes, there is definitely a burning sensation when using your MacBook on your lap for any prolonged length of time.
So what are your options? READ MORE »
Review: iTrip Nano - Griffin Technology
What fun would an iPod be without the portability? You like to take it in the car, to the gym, your friends house, etc. In-car hardwired solutions sound fabulous, but they don't offer the ability to broadcast your iPod to any FM stereo.
Griffin Technology is the first company that comes to mind when I think of iPod accessories. My first Griffin product was the iTrip. I purchased it when I bought my first iPod in 2005. The iTrip fit on top of the iPod and looked very cool. After Apple introduced the iPod Nano, they had to design a new interface that would accommodate the Nano's ports and keep the slim look of the Nano without making it too bulky. Their solution is the iTrip Nano: A sleek FM transmitter that matches your iPod. READ MORE »
Review: Razer Pro|Tone m250 Headphones
In ear headphones are great for isolating outside noise and listening to your music in private. However, the earbuds that come with the iPod don't particularly fit everyone's ear size. Even with the newest iPod earbud design, people still complain about them falling out or being uncomfortable.

Razer Pro|Solutions offers an attractive alternative, called the Pro|Tone m250 ergonomic ear-hugging headphones. They fit over the outside of your ears and feature a flexible rubber-coated ear grip that hold them in place. They offer a snug fit that will keep them on during a jog or working out. READ MORE »
Review: WaterField Nintendo DS Lite Case
The Nintendo DS Lite is portable enough to take anywhere.
Most DS Lite cases are designed with kids in mind and come in obnoxious colors and sizes. Luckily WaterFeld Designs have come up with an elegant case that any kid or adult would be proud to tote around.
It's nice to see designers taking note of the popularity of portable gaming. So many cases are aimed solely for kids and usually consist of something that resembles a sling or a backpack. You can't discretely carry that around. Let's take a look at the WaterField solution and see how it performs. READ MORE »

Review: Sportsuit Relay and Sportsuit Sensor+ from Marware
Are you interested in the Nike+iPod kit for your iPod Nano, but don't want to run with Nike+ shoes? Fortunately, Marware has developed an inexpensive and easy alternative called the Sportsuit Sensor +.
It's a small neoprene and rubber pouch that allows you to attach the Nike sensor to your favorite running shoes of any brand. This is a fantastic solution for people who don't want to buy the special Nike shoes, for whatever reason.
We tested the Sportsuit Relay for iPod Nano, a combo solution consisting of Marware's patented wrist/armband case and the Sportsuit Sensor + case. The lightweight armband is made of a neoprene and rubber and comes with a velcro attachable extension. The extension can be attached if you have a thick wrist or if you want to wrap it around your upper arm. The extension is long enough that it should accommodate most male and female body types.
